We have reached the point of no return. The planetary situation has developed into a monster scenario. If only people would listen and try to understand why we need to re-evaluate our mindset and change our values, setting new long-term standards together for the future. Less talk, stronger action is needed to be able to save our planet. Lord B as symbol for sustainability and common responsibility, bring down the barriers, open doors and make people more conscious about the necessary steps to take.
PLAN B
There are many different opinions on what is the right thing might be to improve the climate situation. Lord B has in the period of 2009-2011 been supporting the World Land Trust (a registered charity in the UK which works with overseas project partners to save threatened tropical forests and other vital habitats) in their purchase of threatened Atlantic Rainforest in the Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Assu (REGUA) in N E Brazil. REGUA is a Brazilian NGO which works to protect critically threatened Atlantic Rainforest habitat: www.worldlandtrust.org www.regua.co.uk

Instead of creating new CO² plantations, we believe it is better to preserve the standing forests that survive today and to restore areas where forests have been lost. That way biodiversity is saved and given the possibility of spreading and breeding safely.
John Burton founder and CEO from World land Trust call their forest support "Restoration Ecology"
Here is what he explains to telegraph.co.uk: 'WLT is not doing plantations at all. A lot of the carbon offset companies are just sticking in masses and masses of plantation trees which to me is almost as bad as monoculture corn.' Why? 'Because it has very little benefit to wildlife. In the end what are you going to do? You're going to cut the trees down. At REGUA and in other WLT project areas we're creating a whole new ecosystem by planting native trees grown from seeds collected from the forest floor in standing forest. To me that's much more valuable.'
We at Lord B PLanet Rescue firmly believe in the World Land Trust vision. This priceless natural heritage biodiversity and wildlife are irreplaceable.

The incredible ecosystem sequesters huge amounts of carbon and carbon dioxide (CO²). Deforestation, causes this carbon to be released into the atmosphere in the form of CO², and already 20% of CO² comes from deforestation.
Defining reasons behind an eventual man-made Global warming is an abstract concept with no real evidence.
But one thing is sure; wild life in the arctics are in real danger due to the increased temperatures maybe created by humans due to carbon and CO² outlets among other green house gasses.
The decisions we make now at all levels will move the world forward in such a way that we might get there. Greenland’s ice cap contains 20 % of the freshwater of the whole planet, so when Icebergs will melt, and the freshwater will run out in the oceans, we will se radical changes all over the planet.
Sea levels in the the oceans are rising and will flood low lying cities as well as whole countries like the Maldives. Coral reefs are extremely sensitive to the slightest change and the water has allready become acid, killing and bleaching the beautiful coral reefs. Coral reefs are vital for protection against storms and tsunamis, as well as providing a crucial ecosystem for fisheries

As the rainforest is the core issue in natures eco system, we believe it is best to focus on protecting the existing but threatened tropical rain forests, so it can be secured properly. We chose the British World Land Trust and the Brazilian NGO, REGUA for this task. REGUA protect and secure the forest, so that it will not be harvested and exploited at the expense of biofuel production, soy and palm oil, bamboo, oil drilling, or even the most recent threat that is building of holiday homes for people living in Rio de Janeiro.
